fieldtrip/city race yesterday.
kinda glad that i picked myself up to do it.
tho i had to run to the venue cos i was late. :/

met joel along the way.
and we deciphered the road to our meet-up - sculpture square,
near campus one of nafa.
welldone for being hot and sweaty in the first five minutes in the day.
and it didnt help that the train there was really crowded and all.



the race was very interesting.
cos for me, it gave me a reason to take notice of the buildings around me.
just to take a second look and admire things that i would normally miss.
and that each building was crafted with care and all.
and none can be called, well, normal/boring.

ohyea.
thats my really nice personaltutor/lecturer in the second picture.
and he was wearing a grey esprit polo yays!


the first station was about noticing details such as windows.
and the things that adorn a building.
walking around with weiying and bryan
led us to this alley that was lined by this amazing old building. (above)
though it seemed kinda dull with peeling paint and grey-oncewhite walls.
its my fav building of the day cos it really had character and a subtle nostalgic feeling to it.
tho many didnt think so hmms.


scouting for clues,
we found a really nice church which is weiying's fav.
and i think it was the first campus of catholichigh.
pardon me if i'm wrong but i really think so!
the interior tho musty, was really nice and the stained glasswindows were beautiful. (:

the race continued with the campus of smu,
which thankgoodness i've been recently with zhengkai.
and lo&behold, i spotted my eyecandy who was a friend of a friend.
like yays! (((:
there was a pimple on the cheek but still! (:


i think we took kinda long at the campus.
but i really got to admire the flora with the architecture.
which was really nice. (:
and of cos, it helped when occasional goodlooking people would walk past hah.
weiying, bryan and i kinda became good spotters
cos we were tasked to find, of all things
certain types of pipes.
like wth.

it took us forever
but the lecturer told us that we found the exact pipes in the end.
of which they didnt expect us to find hah. (:

next was singapore arts mueseum.
we werent tasked to go inside, so it was kinda boring.
except that marklee and vivianlai were filming outside!
i just hope that i wasnt caught on film cos i wasnt exactly looking my best. :/

chijmes was next.
and by that time i was really bushed and tired.
so not too many pictures of the place.
tho i've never been inside chijmes before so it was kind of an eyeopener.
it sort of reminded me of the inside of raffleshotel too hah.
and by then, the three of us spotted clues veryvery quickly.
so it was snapsnap and helping the others find their clues.
