last friday at siglap.
we just had to find an excuse to come back to siglap hoho.
colour themed at blue&brown,
which was supposed to be chocolate sky.
but in the end only gwen came in blue.
HAHA but i still like brown hoho. (:


minimal camwhoring.
no idea why but we definitely entertained ourselves.
i have no idea but i SAY that the game was quite fun.
i managed to complete my sheet on time tho i was bored halfway.
managed to get to know more people.
actually talking to people whom i've noticed and TSKTSK-ed about.
EH, actually not really haha.


the conference room carpet is nice! :D
tho my suggestion of camwhoring on the table was not very practical.

ended quite early.
so we cheesecaked at the cheesecake cafe.

cheesecake was scrumpdiliyumtious.
however you spell that.
its been looong since i had such good cheesecake.
inspires me to make my own. (:
soon i hope before the excitement fizzles out.
i'll find excuses to date people there just to eat cheesecake!

talked quite alot.
bitched and basically just enjoyed the ambience.
soft lighting (which made camwhoring without flash impossible) and dangling thingys with a dash of great friends equals perfect outing. (:


prepared for onemonth cupcakes the next day.
after a scolding, it made sense to wake up at seven the next day.
groggy plus $*#^(&$* ulcer near teeth made life miserable.
tho the cupcakes turned out fantabulous.
it looooked fantabulous anyways. (:
i couldnt really eat them cos of my blasted ulcer that hurt everytime i swallowed.
but with preetty pink ribbon.
i tink it was a success. (:

christmas plus christmas party update.



christmas partay on the 23rd at zkai's house.
choir potluck which featured alot of sweeeet things.
of cos i brought my gingerbread men and cookies.
but the gingerbread men were snapped up much faster hah.
stayover was hilarious.
cos we played fatalframe till everyone finished bathing.
and half the time i was covering my face in the beginning.
but the ghosts seemed very boring as the hours droned on.

but christmas exchange was successful!
at least i didnt screw up my feeble attempt to get everyone to applaud after each person got a present.
its quite funny whaaat. (:

and it got sooo funny.
until we laughed ourselves to sleep.
literally.

cheap cleaning shows on the telly amuse me hah.



christmas was spent at gma's house as usual.
and i like leeetle umbrella cocktail sticks.

went out with jas on thurs.
primarily to shop for presents.
and got shocked at the prices of esprit tops at the counter.

i feel so ermm rich, imagining that i could own all those books.
oh and i alr picked the guestbook for my wedding.

listened to agapella do their soundcheck at the esplanade.
and its nice to be on the audience-end to sit on the comfy pillows on the floor.
instead of having bright lights shining at your face.

and waited whilst reading newspapers
ooogling at fab decorated angel cookies.
watched consort carol which was quite nice.
tho 'white christmas' is still my favourite.

and it was really full of laughs and all.

before prom i guess.

yes, let's begin with prom! :D

went to grandcopthrone with gerald in his car
all dressed up and looking fabulous.
well, at least the two of us actually.
i know i was fretting the entire day at what i was going to wear.
going back every fifteen mins to check if it looked okay.
yes, i was paranoid.

everyone loooooked different i must say.
and even those who usually looked, well erm different
didnt have a fashion faux pas that night.
those i noticed anyways. (:
so its a VERYGOOD improvement,
considering the declining standards that aj people have.


food was well average.
but the company made it much better.
laughs and random snides at the choir table were hilarious.
and suddenly in the middle of dinner,
everyone disappears to take photos. :/


2am dessert bar was cancelled.
and we troooped down to the postprom at homeclub.
which as usual,
was spent singing throughout the journey.
the music was kinda oldies-ish, peppered with danceable tracks.
which was my kinda thing.
but didnt dance much,
tho DAMNIT, should have stayed longer to catch some skanky action tsk.

BAKINGDAY.

no one said bakingday was supposed to be glamourous
the whoooole idea is to get down and dirty right?
with the flour anyways.
the buying of ingredients was veeery interesting.
cos i got to see inner amk with its little red men heh.


the baking got kinda weird and the gingerbread shapes tasted a little odd.
and not in a good way.
but it was subtlely saved by splashes of icing.
tho scaring ourselves silly with random ghosts on film was fun.

for the record,
i baked another batch at home and it turned out perfect.
complete with icing made from scratch.
HAH.

so it wasnt my fault hmpf.


two days ago,
carolling at esplanade! :D

the singing was plenty good and had definitely improved.
but the emcee-ing is just well, very merry.
ARGH!



and i tink i loook very ugly when i'm singing.
eeks.


this night will never ever be mentioned again.
and i blame it on stagefright, bright lights and idiotic laughing people in the first row.
