chingay!
this is one of my more successful fireworks shots.
now who says you must use some dinky giant professional camera to take pics of fireworks.
mine does just fine, even if its only one shot.
i blame the fireworks for not being patient then.



its late i know.
but i really enjoyed chingay last saturday.
ended up missing on a movie outing so i wouldnt be late.
had an extra ticket so brought bestie huiting along.
guilty of having watched chingay for quite a few times,
but i still get that crazy thrill just before the show.

being early has its perks,
catching the costumed performers camwhoring.
the props were very interesting.
i almost tried to run into the field to grab it,
but then again i'm not as small as i think :/

but it was great nonetheless.
the fluorescent traditional-esque is acceptable for once!

the songs presented were real nice.
and balya-gi (however you spell it) will always be one of my fav. (:
the first half was a little too heavy,
but the second half definitely entertained.
tho shima-e brought back so many memories,
and i almost teared.

bah, dont scold me for being such an emopig.
with mrkwei conducting, it brings back alot. (:


it was a good sunday,
complete with buttercookie hearts. (:
darn the couples gahh.

i need a new bag. (:
and a puppy in tow.
